There are actually many ways these developers earn profit. These ways includes : In App Purchases, Subscription, Affiliate Income, Selling API
As you guys might know how they earn from In App Purchases And Subscriptions, Let’s talk about the other two ways :
Affiliate Income : It means promoting other brands, apps or services in your app. It might bring you a way lot of money if big brands accepts your partnership. Most developers tends to promote services which are similar to their topic
Selling API : This works in case you developed an outstanding, unique software solution, which gained popularity, you can sell the API to it, or the entire source code.
So, That’s it! But still, There are many app developers who made a whole lot money from these ideas
