One question that comes to our mind is, will the other person know if I block them on Facebook. The answer is no. They won’t get any notification saying “someone blocked you on Facebook.”
When you block someone on Facebook, they won’t be able to view your profile, and they can’t see whatever you share on your feed, or text you on messenger. Facebook also allows you to block messages from a user on Facebook. They will not be able to message you and will not be notified either, but they will be able to view your profile and see what you share on your feed.
however they will get to know, that you blocked them, if they try to check your profile. Facebook shows like user can’t be reached and nothing shows up. So they will observe that you may blocked them. you may read can facebook account be suspended ?

Facebook doesn’t send any notifications to the person you blocked from your account .The only way that he/she get to know about it , if they notice your absence from their profile like message thread or in comment section. They might get to know about it when they review their friend list but still you can save yourself by saying that you have deactivate your account
