You’ll find some really good and reliable machines as you start exploring your options for laptops priced around Rs 30000.
1. LENOVO IDEAPAD S145
The Lenovo Ideapad S145 is one of the best laptops under Rs 30,000. For Rs 27, 990, the laptop comes with a Ryzen 3 Dual Core 3200U processor, 4GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of HDD. This laptop has a relatively slim form factor and it has a display that opens up to 180-degrees. It also comes with a full-sized keyboard and a decent-sized touchpad. The Ideapad S145 sports a 15.6-inch FHD display with a peak brightness of 220 nits. It’s an anti-glare TN panel with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The laptop also packs a 35 WHr Li-ion battery which should be enough to keep the lights on for a long time without having to reach out for the charge capabilities.
2. HP 14S
While priced about Rs. 30,000 this HP 14s laptop is the most capable and balanced laptop on this list. It comes with the latest 10th gen Intel Core i3 processor and also uses an SSD for storage, which is clearly faster than hard disk drive-based laptops. At 1.47 kilograms, it is also one of the lightest laptops on this list. You get 4GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD-based storage. The laptop comes with Windows 10 Home edition OS and features technology like fast charging that claims to charge 50% in approximately 45 minutes. The laptop also sports all the necessary ports including multiple USB 3.0 ports, a full-sized HDMI port, and a headphone jack. The HP 14s also features a 720p webcam to give you decent quality video calling capabilities
3. HP 245 G7
The key feature on this laptop is the AMD Ryzen 3300U processor, which has 4 cores and also comes with Radeon Vega 6 graphics, both of which make it a very good performing laptop at the Rs. 30,000 price point. At approximately 1.6 kilograms, this is also a fairly lightweight laptop and offers all the essential connectivity features such as multiple USB ports, an HDMI port, the headphone jack that has been combined with the microphone jack, and of course, a webcam too. You can also expect a bit of casual gaming with this laptop, which is an advantage if you do occasionally enjoy casual PC gaming thanks to the Radeon graphics that are baked into the AMD Ryzen 3000 series APU. You will be happy to know that even at this low price point, you still get a full HD display.
4. HP 15 DB1069AU
The HP 15 (db1069AU) comes with a 15.6-inch HD display and is powered by an AMD Ryzen 3 3200U processor. Which is a good choice for a laptop budget of Rs. 30,000. This laptop can be used for basic tasks and by students. It has 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. The laptop weighs 2 kilograms and claims to charge itself from 0 to 50 percent in under 45 minutes. The laptop offers Windows 10 Home edition and Microsoft office 2019 student edition pre-loaded, which is a big advantage at this price point. If fast boot times and quick load times are a must, even at this low price range, we recommend upgrading RAM to 8GB and swapping the HDD for an SSD. This upgrade will add significantly to the speed of the machine while costing very little additional money. We should also mention that the price point for this laptop does fluctuate between 28,000 to 30,000 on the online stores. Try grabbing it when it drops down onto the lower end to get the most bang for your buck!
5. ASUS VIVOBOOK X409JA-EK011T
The Asus Vivobook is recommended if you want a thin and light laptop, which is fairly compact and offers a full HD display. At just 1.6 kilograms, this is a lightweight laptop with an anti-glare 14-inch full HD display, suitable for watching videos with higher clarity in comparison to HD displays. This laptop packs the latest Intel 10th gen Core i3 processor, which is a pretty good processor at this price point. You also get 4GB of RAM which is soldered onto the motherboard, but there is also an empty SODIMM slot, allowing you to upgrade the memory to a maximum of 12GB. Storage-wise also things look good, with 1TB HDD already installed, and an empty m.2 slots for adding an m.2 SSD (not NVMe). The laptop comes with Windows 10 Home edition preloaded.
