In this pandemic situation, the term which I am hearing frequently is “Herd immunity”. I want to know what is herd immunity and how does it protect us from infectious diseases like COVID and its new variants. How is this herd immunity achieved? can anyone please explain to me about herd immunity and how is it related to COVID? Does herd immunity give us indirect protection to face COVID new variants?
