As far as I know and YouTube doesn’t pay according to the views. In other words YT doesn’t have a formula which they’ve defined that if you cross so so views you’ll get so so amount. It varies from person to person, audience to audience and creator to creator. So, how does all this works? Let’s understand.
YouTube has a defined ad program which is probably knows as Goggle AdSense. Actually AdSense not only works on YT but on various other Google offerings. Like the ads on websites you visit, the ads on YT, the ads on Gmail etc etc. It is made such that any person can become partner in the Ad program. Meaning even a simple user can become partner and start monetizing their content.
To start monetization on YT, channel creator has to fill their complete details and also they’ve to pass the required subscribers threshold which is mostly 1000 subs varying from countries to countries. Then, YT will start placing ad and the profit will be shared between you and YT that too depends upon ad to ad and content to content.
Generally people make $2 from 1000 views and $2000 from 1000000 views. This amount is not fixed and this is the estimated average done by various data organizations.

Normal if YouTube views are from USA UK or European countries the payment would be high. This is because of the high CPC or ad rates.
