how to link pan with aadhaar ?

I want to link my pan card with my aadhaar, can anyone here let me know the step by step procedure to it?

      You can link your PAN card with Aadhaar Card by following the steps given below :

      • First of all, open the Income Tax e-filing portal by clicking here
      • If you have not registered on it then make sure that you are registered. Now your PAN (Permanent Account Number) will be your user ID.
      • Then Log in by entering your User ID, password and DOB (Date of Birth).
      • There you will see a window where it is written ‘Link your pan with Aadhaar’
      • If this window doesn’t appear then go to ‘Profile Settings’ on menu bar and click on “Link Aadhaar”.
      • Now you have to fill the details of your PAN, Aadhaar number, name and the Captcha. You need to ensure that there is no mismatch and you have filled the same corrected details.
      • After this click on “Link Aadhaar” Option.
      • The IT department will approve your details and then your linking of Aadhaar will be completed.

       

      You can also link your PAN with Aadhaar Card via SMS.

      You have to type your UIDPAN, PAN and Aadhaar number from your registered mobile number and send them to 567678 or 56161.
