Here’s how to use your PHILIPS Citrus Press 25 W Juicer
Place the motor base on a stable, flat surface.
Fit the juice collecting bowl onto the motor base, ensuring it’s securely in place.
Select the appropriate pressing cone size. The larger cone is for oranges and grapefruits, while the smaller one is for lemons and limes. Place the cone onto the motor shaft inside the bowl.
If your model has a sieve (pulp filter), place it on top of the juice collecting bowl, fitting it inside. Some models have a sieve adjuster that allows you to control the amount of pulp in your juice.
2. Preparing the Citrus Fruit:
Wash your citrus fruit thoroughly.
Cut the fruit in half horizontally (from stem to blossom end).
3. Juicing:
Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
Take one half of the citrus fruit and place the cut side down onto the pressing cone.
Gently press the fruit down. This will automatically start the motor and the cone will begin to rotate, extracting the juice.
Rotate the fruit slightly in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions to ensure maximum juice extraction. You don’t need to apply excessive force.
Continue pressing until the peel is empty of juice.
Repeat with the remaining fruit halves.
4. Collecting the Juice:
The extracted juice will flow down into the juice collecting bowl (jar).
The sieve (if present) will catch the pulp and seeds, allowing only the juice to pass through.
5. Serving and Cleaning:
Once you have enough juice, carefully lift the juice collecting bowl from the motor base.
Pour the fresh juice into a glass and enjoy immediately.
To disassemble the juicer for cleaning, remove the pressing cone and the sieve (if applicable) from the juice collecting bowl.
Wash all removable parts (juice collecting bowl, pressing cone(s), and sieve) with warm water and mild detergent. They may also be dishwasher safe, but it’s best to check your user manual.
Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling and storing.
