   Removing the residual message ‘This message was deleted’ from a Whatsapp chat is a very easy process. The message appears when one deletes a message from the chat, as a reminder. Here are the simple steps to remove it from the chat.

   1.Long press on the residual message ‘This message was deleted’.
   2.Tap on the delete icon that appears.
   3.Select the delete for me option.

   ‘This message was deleted’ will be removed from the Whatsapp chat.

     But it’ll still show for the recipient. How to delete it for the recipient as well?
