How to self-publish your book on amazon kindle?

      Hello,

      The cost of publishing with publishers is rising day by day. The publishers are getting more sophisticated day by day and they mainly want to work with established authors. For new authors it is really very hard to get a decent publisher and chances are there that you’ll end up choosing wrong publisher with very less royalty in your hand. So, the only next best option is self publishing and Amazon is perfect for this. Follow along:

      • Login to your Amazon account from here. https://kdp.amazon.com
      • Click ‘Update’ in the account information and fill the tax information.
      • After filling the complete TAX information click ‘Finish’ and return to the main page. Your profile is now complete.
      • Fill the title and the subtitle (optional) in your KDP (Kinder Direct Publishing) profile.
      • Write a powerful book description. Make sure the description is catchy so it helps to gain the attention of potential buyers.
      • Choose your Amazon Keywords. Keywords helps in the indexing of the page. Choose careful words so when someone searches for your book, it shows right on top or at least within first page.
      • Choose categories and sub-categories.This will help buyers to look for the book in a correct genre.
      • Now, upload your manuscript. Here’s how to do it.
      1.  Go to “Your Bookshelf” in your Kindle Direct Publishing account.
      2. Click on “Kindle eBook Actions” next to the title of your book.
      3. Click on “Edit eBook Content”.
      4. Click on “Upload eBook manuscript”.
      5. Upload your manuscript file on your computer.
      6. After successful upload you’ll receive a confirmatory mail from Amazon.

      Your book is now published. Now, work on your sales and earn.
