The best company to join among the four IT giants TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant is not an easy question to answer. But basing on few factors and the priority you give we can decide. Here is the comparison among them:

TCS vs Infosys vs Wipro vs Cognizant vs Accenture

      Infosys

The company has maintained the flexible work culture and environment for its workforce of 2.04 lakh employees.

India’s second largest firm scored 3.4 out of 5 from 28,000 reviews on the job listing portals. While 4,000 Infosys employees enjoy the company’s work culture and environment, nearly 3,000 have issues with the salaries in comparison to market averages and other companies.

Infosys has an attrition rate of 16.6%, the firm announced a company-wide salary hike for nearly 85% of its employee in July.

Many employees have reported that this hike was minimal as compared to other firms.

Infosys is still considered a great place to start your career in IT.

      Wipro

Wipro has a major share in carving out an identity in the outsourcing sector.

Majority of the company’s business is driven through business processing services (BPS).

Wipro scored an average of 3.4 out of 5 from 16,000 reviews.

Wipro employees speak highly of the work-life balance, worldwide explore, work environment and learning opportunities that the company offers.

On job listing portals, Wipro employees complain about salaries.

The annual salary hike offered by Wipro is quite low.

Wipro has been fairly slow in taking hold of the Latin American market, which has affected the company’s overall growth.

      Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)

India’s most valued IT services firm drives most of its revenue from North American clients.

As far as internet reviews are concerned, employees think highly of the firm.

Almost 5,000 employees appreciate the work-life balance offered by TCS.

There are certain complaints around fewer salary hikes and overall low salary levels.

TCS employees enjoy the flexible environment, on-site opportunities, and career growth.

A few hundred say that there is no work life balance on some projects.

The importance and value given to women is appreciable.

Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, and several other large IT companies in India, such as IBM, Accenture, and others, continue to be the most significant engineering talent recruits on-campus off-campus too.

Non-IT-related engineering sectors have also been recruited, including mechanical engineering, construction, electrical, electronics, communications, and mining. Of course, the job at one of these companies is a high priority for some engineering students in India.

      You may have a doubt, like many others, regarding which of these companies you should start your IT career with? The simple answer: your choice should be based solely on the answer to a simple question;

For many of us, that would be very difficult to answer: What is your goal for your professional life, or how would you like to shape your professional career?

Not many of us have come up with a serious answer to this seemingly simple question. The most common answer is “make a lot of money” or “I just want to be placed with a multinational company.” That’s a very superficial answer! Because in a few years it will be effortless for you to work for a multinational corporation! But it doesn’t tell you what your choice should be!

The decisive factors: Digest this fact:

      • It does not matter which of these companies you start your career with – if you are “lucky,” you will be offered a project with these companies immediately after your training, which will take a few weeks.
      • Once you understand that the overall impact these companies have on your career will be “equal,” consider the following key factors in your decision:
      • Salary Package Offered
      • Location,
      • Work Culture: Do employees work in shifts? Are you planning to study for the PG entrance exam? (CAT, MS, GMAT, GATE, etc., which domain are promised you (often it will surprise you), etc.
      • Decide on the more critical factors than worrying about which company will be” best” for you—your future success. From a more recent point of view, each of these companies is at the same level! And like many engineers, they come to these companies with better salary packages.
      • After getting some industry experience and want to “settle down” in life. Not many will agree because there are many people these days who start their careers in these companies and then stop to get into new businesses or start their own business.

End Note: choose any company. It just doesn’t matter.
