   Here are some of the rules and suggestions for zoom breakout rooms

   Before Creating or hosting a zoom session with breakout rooms You should be aware of the settings and how to create and assign people in breakout rooms. You can have a look at the Zoom Breakout Room Documentation.

   Firstly write down the set of rules/instructions and share them with the student through screen share or on Zoom chatbox.

   Steps to create Breakout rooms:

   1. After starting the meeting clink on the option breakout rooms in that taskbar
   2. Next, select the number of rooms you would like to create
   3. Assignment of students can be done in 3 ways:
      1. By randomly, Computer automatically assigns students
      2. Manually, The host should choose in which room how many no:of students should join
      3. In this way Participants choose their room by their interests
   4. Click on create button the breakout rooms will be created

   Rules for the Zoom breakout rooms are some normal rules like

   • While sharing the screen Students need to share the contents related to the topic
   • Audio should be clear when he/she speaking
   • Make sure that You are seated in a room
   • Internet connection should be proper because after assigning breakout if the student leaves the meet due to network issues, then he/she may not be assigned to a similar room if the host is selected random ways to assign.
   • Use the ‘ Ask for help ‘ button if you have any problem/query

   My suggestions for the host who is creating breakout rooms:

   • Make sure you have a clean and good idea about Zoom meetings
   • My suggestion is to use a manual assign process to assign students to breakout rooms
   • Use the chatbox to communicate
   • Allocate less no:of students in each breakout room Because the purpose of the breakout room is to interact.
   • The host created this meeting should circulate between the rooms. You may turn off your audio and video and simply observe the students
