I want to become a full stack developer and i choose mysql as database for my project. How can i create database using mysql workbench ,can anyone show creation of database using mysql with few examples..

      To create database in MySQL, following prerequisites are required –

      • Install MySQL Workbench in your system
      • MySQL Server (as workbench works with MySQL databases)

      Now, follow these steps –

      1. First of all, open workbench
      2. Choose database server you have access to and connect to it
      3. Create new database, by clicking on the icon for creating a new schema. You can create new schema using any of these two methods as shown in the images
      4. Now, name the database in alpha-numerical characters
      5. Click Apply. If everything is ok, click apply once more
      6. Now, look at output to check whether SQL script is successfully applied to the database
      7. Then, close the SQL script and start working on table using workbench
      8. Once, you create table, you can move on to adding data to the table

      That’s all you need to do to create database in My SQL.

      Database creation in mysql with examples easy

       

      Creating a new database using MySQL means executing the database as a directory to store all your files in a table format.

      My Sql Database creation is as follows

      In MySQL Workbench, click on the “create a new schema in the connected server” icon which can be found on the toolbar.

      Enter your schema name and the default collation. At the bottom, click on the “Apply” button.

      The next window opens where you are made to review the SQL statement that will run to create the new database. Click “Apply”.

      Here, the following statement shows:

      CREATE SCHEMA ‘database_name’ DEFAULT CHARACTER SET ‘characterset_name’

      You will be able to view your new database listed under the SCHEMAS tab on the left pane.
