   Blue Screen Errors can be really frustrating and the Windows won’t load until these errors are resolved. Inaccessible Boot Device stop code occurs when your device fails to access the System Partition. There could be several reasons for this like:

   • Faulty Installation Of Windows Update.
   • Outdated Or Incompatible Drivers.
   • Hardware Issues.
   • Malware Infections.
   • Loose Cable Connection Of Hard Disk.

   There are many solutions that can be found elsewhere, not all of them might seem working. Here are some ways by which you can get through Inaccessible Boot Device Windows Stop Code error. These solutions are tested and proved to be working for many users and even for me, when I faced the Blue Screen issue.

   Method 1: Remove And Reinsert The Hard Disk

   1. If you’re on Laptop, Remove the Hard Disk from the back. If you’re confused, Try googling “How to remove hard disk from”+ <Your Laptop Model>.
   2. Once you have removed it, Try cleaning the connection port with tissue paper and then reinsert it.
   3. Check if the problem persists.

   Method 2: BIOS

   1. While booting the device, Press Delete key or F2 repeatedly.
   2. When you’re in BIOS, Go to Advanced Settings.
   3. Finding something called “AHCI ” Mode.
   4. Set it’s value to Enabled.
   5. Save the settings and boot your device.

   Method 3: Automatic Repair Options

   While you’re on the Blue screen error, wait for sometime and it will boot into Automatic Repair screen.

   1. Choose Advanced Options> Troubleshoot>  Advanced Options> System Restore.
   2. Login to your account select the newest system restore point.
   3. It might take some time to restore your PC.
   4. Once it’s done, Check if the problem persists.
   5. If it didn’t worked for you, Go to Troubleshoot> Advanced Options and try these options: Uninstall Updates, System Image Recovery.

   Method 4: Command Prompt – Restoring The Backup Of Essential System Files

   1. Go to Advanced Repair screen and choose Advanced Options> Troubleshoot>  Advanced Options> Command Prompt.
   2. Type in these commands one after the other (Ignore the double quotes):  “c:”, “cd windows/system32/config”, “cd RegBack”, “cd..”, “ren DEFAULT DEFAULT1”, “ren SAM SAM1”, “ren SECURITY SECURITY1”, “ren SOFTWARE SOFTWARE1”, “ren SYSTEM SYSTEM1”, “cd RegBack”, “copy *.* ..”.
   3. At last, Type in “exit” and restart your PC.

   Method 5: Uninstall Recently Installed Update Packages

   1. Go to Command Prompt again and type in these commands one after the other:
   2. “c:”, “dism /Image:c:\ /Get-Packages /Format:table”.
   3. Here you can see a list of updates that have been installed.
   4. Take a note of the latest update packages or any suspicious packages and proceed to the next command:
   5. “dism /Image:c:\ /Remove-Package /PackageName:[Package Name]”. Here, Replace Package Name inside the square brackets with the package name of the updates you’ve noted earlier.
   6. Repeat step 5 in case of 2 or more packages that you want to remove.
   7. At last, Type in “exit” and reboot your PC.

   Method 6: Run SFC Tool, DISM Tool And Check Disk Tool.

   1. Go to Command Prompt Again
   2. To Run SFC Tool, Type In these Commands: “c:”, “SFC /ScanNow”.
   3. To Run DISM Tool, Type In These Commands: “c:”, “dism.exe /Image:c:\ /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth”.
   4. To Run Check Disk Tool: “chkdsk /r c: “.
   5. Its better to run these 3 tools in the same CMD Window.
