To discuss about the differences between WhatsApp and signal app, one thing I observed is. Signal app stated that the conversation text are not even stored on their server.
Both WhatsApp and signal app uses end to end encryption. So privacy is really good on both of the apps. Where signal app is purely non-commercial app.
