How to create a free MailChimp Account?

How can I send email to a number of people using MailChimp. Is it free to use or I need to pay for it. Please tell me the step by step process of using it for sending mass emails.

    1. MailChimp is free to use upto 2000 subscribers.

      Just you need to follow these simple steps-

      1. Search MailChimp on Google
      2. Sign up from your personal account or company account
      3. Click on Lists -> Create List
      4. Fill all the details such as list name (write your Domain Name & Newsletter), default from email address, default from name, etc. then save
      5. Now, verify email MailChimp to assure that you own the domain name. For that go to lists -> settings -> verify domain -> send verification email
      6. Then login to domain host -> verification email from MailChimp -> Copy Code -> Paste code in Enter Verification Code option -> verified
      7. Finally import contacts from stats given in lists

      Well, that’s all you need to do to send mass emails using MailChimp.
