I am not a socially active person .I join insta because my roommate explain me that it would be fun ,but am not finding this app useful and want to delete my account from it permanently but am not able to find any option on instagram from the same .Kindly help me with this

You can delete your Instagram account permanently by following five simple steps. In order to delete the Instagram account permanently, please follow the given steps
1) Before deleting your account, make sure that all your data that is on Instagram is been taken by you. Once you have deleted your account you will not have any access to your photos or posts, you will not have access to the data download tool of Instagram.
2) Please login your Instagram on the PC or mobile browser, as you don’t have a delete option in the Instagram app.
3) In the browser or Computer, you can find the delete your account page.
4) Select the reason why are you deleting your account from the drop-down box and enter your password.
5) Once after selecting the reason, click or tap on permanently delete my account.
If you have posted huge number of photos it may take up to 90 days to complete the deletion process. Usually, after 30 days of your deletion request, all the information of your account will be permanently deleted.
once your account is deleted you can’t sign up again with the same username or add that user name to another account.
