Yes, you can find WiFi passwords if you’re connected easily. In newer smartphones there’s an option to generate QR code of the connected WiFi. Usually this screen sometimes also shows the WiFi passwords next to the QR code. If it isn’t there , you can just scan the QR code to get it.
Or you can consider using a third party if your phone doesn’t have that feature built-in.
