My phone doesn’t charge properly due to the loose port. How can I fix it?

Even, sometimes back my smartphone stopped charging due to loose charging port. I thought it was not charging because of dust in the port so I took a pin and removed all the dirt. But it didn’t work. Even, I replaced my cable, still it didn’t work. Then I realised that it was due to loose charging port.
And this is how I fixed loose charging port in my smartphone –
I opened my mobile phone and using pliers and wrench, squeezed charger port flat a bit. I kept doing it until charger fit the snug again and yes finally it worked.
If it doesn’t solve your problem then you have to replace the charging port.
