Trying to fix audio issues of your laptop? Here are some tried and tested solutions that might help you to fix the audio problem:
• Check the volume : check the volume, sometimes the volume is muted accidentally, so keep a check on it. To check the volume you can click on the speaker button on the lower right side of your laptop screen.
• Try using headphones or external speakers : try plugging your headphones or any external speaker if it works that means the problem is in your laptop speakers only. Use a USB headset or headphones try to plug it in and check if you get audio as these bypass the default audio driver, and can pin point the where the problem could be.
• Check your connections: have a look at your external headphones, speakers, jacks and plugs for loose cable cords and ensure if they are correctly plugged in or not.
• Run Audio troubleshooter: Windows audio troubleshooter can also help to automatically fix the audio problems in your laptop. For this, click on Start > Settings > System > Sound and select Troubleshoot.
• Check for Windows update: if there is any update available kindly update tour system or windows. It may also help in fixing the audio issues.
