how to fix copying add on ps4 modern warfare

Everytime when I want to play modern warfare game on my PS4, it is saying wait copying add-on and it is getting stuck for 30 minutes. how to fix copying add on ps4 modern warfare? It is really getting stuck at copy add on. Can I skip this copy addon on modern warfare?

      One working way I found out to fix copy addon loop on modern warfare game is,instead of downloading everything just download the campaigns.

      Observe the above image ( modern warfare start). Best way to fix copy add on loop is you just have to install or download your campaigns.So you need todo campaign pack which is the top one and 4th compaign/backups.

      If they are already installed just uninstall and reinstall again. I hope doing this will avoid copy addon loop downloading so that you’ll save 27gb.

      Here’s how I fixed the issue: copying add on loop on modern warfare PS4.

      ▪️Delete the game.

      ▪️Disconnect the WiFi or Ethernet cable (that’s the internet cable for some of you clowns)

      ▪️Eject the game.

      ▪️Power off the PS.

      ▪️Hold the Power Button down until it starts back up and you’ll hear a second beep.

      ▪️You should now come to a “Boot Up Menu” prompt. Release the Power Button.

      ▪️Select the option to REBUILD the Database. (It should NOT delete your games or any data) Let it go through the motions.

      ▪️Once you’re back up, Insert the Game and it should go through the motions of copying about 35GB onto the PS. Immediately after it should install about another 16GB.

      ▪️Once these 50GB or so install the game should now start up. (A few more steps left to run)

      ▪️Now connect the Ethernet cable.

      ▪️Highlight COD and press down pad until get to the Add Ons for the game. Select the addons. (For me it was only 1 Addon (Multiplayer) and it was about 72GB in total)

      Once the installation finishes, you should now have the game up and running.

      The “Copying Add On” issue is faced by many Play Station and Xbox Users. The players have to wait for 30 mins or sometimes even more in order to get past this error. But luckily, there’s a fix. The solution to this problem is mentioned below :

       

      • Once you open the game and have waited for over 30 minutes to get past this error, Press options and it will open the Options window
      • Now, Go to General Tab and press “Up” on your D-Pad
      • Open Game Installs
      • Once all the game patches are loaded up, Go to Campaign Pack 1 and press “X”
      • It would take you to the Play Station store and you can see all those patches available for download
      • These downloads may be of different sizes. Go to the ones that are less in size, Like the Campaign Pack 1, 2 or Special Ops Pack which would be of 1 or 2mb.
      • Download all those files and wait for some minutes
      • Now, after the downloads are finished, Exit the game.
      • After that, Remove the disc, clean it and reinsert it again
