Yes we can disable trending searches option on Google, so that you won’t see any trending searches from next time.
For everyone who came here looking for to disable trending searches. Especially for those using Desktop or Laptop and you wish to get rid of that pesky Trending searches in Google. Follow this steps.
Turn off trending searches off Google on desktop computer:
Step 1: First go to Google.com
Step 2: Look towards the Bottom Right Corner. Youd see 3 links. Privacy, Terms & Settings. Step 3: Click on the Settings link. And a Popup
message box will appear. Step 4: Click on Search Settings.
This will open the Search Settings page.
Step 5: In the Search Settings page, Search for Auto-complete with Trending Searches. Step 6: Click on the DO NOT SHOW popular searches radio button. Step 7: Scroll down and then click on Save button.
This is how you can turn off auto searches on mobile:
1.Open Google mobile app and click on more option, you see more option at bottom right.
2.Now click on settings and then general.
3. Here you’ll see option called Auto complete with trending searches. you need to disable this option so that you won’t see any trending searches from now on. You married how to delete Google search suggestions.
I checked ‘Do not show popular searches’ in April and it worked until now. The searches have now returned, yet ‘Do not show…’ is still shown as checked.

In order to get rid of trending searches, open the Google search app on your mobile. Need to click on three dots and then settings there you’ll see general option.
Here you’ll have trending searches auto complete option, disable that.
Path to disable trending searches on Google:
Path : 3 dots -> settings -> general -> auto complete trending searches -> disable.
