To hide WhatsApp message content in notification bar in any Android phone, goto your phone settings app. Then you need to click on notifications and status bar option.
Now here you need to click on manage notifications. Now try to find WhatsApp application here.
Just tap on the WhatsApp application. Here you’ll find the list of notification settings to enable and disable.
If you don’t want to see WhatsApp message content on the lock screen you need to turn off the above shown options in the image.
If you observe in the above image, notifications for banner, lock screen are enabled just disable, that so that you won’t see WhatsApp message content right on your home screen.
