Restoring Whatsapp Chats From Zip File In Your Iphone can be a little difficult compared to other restoring methods.

Step 1:
In the ‘Export/Restore WhatsApp Backup‘ tab, choose the backup including the chats you want to restore. Select ‘Restore to Device‘ to import this backup to your iPhone
Step 2: The program will ask you with a prompt that if you would like to preview the Whatsapp Backup. Click ‘Yes’ to confirm the WhatsApp chat you want to Restore is in this Backup. If you have no need to preview, click ‘No’ and connect your iPhone to Import the WhatsApp chats, click ‘Next’.
Step 3: You’ve put things into motion, Wait until the Import process complete. You can view your Whatsapp Messages on your destination smartphone after that.

Krishna Vijayan, I a accidentally deleted my whatsapp yesterday and restored the chats, but the last time I took backup was on 17th Jan 2021 so the chats before that date are recovered and chats from 17th Jan 2021 till today is lost, so now can I ask the person with whom I have chatted to send me a chat history through export chat option and then restore it on my device, I use Iphone 6s, I can get an android device if it is require, Please help..

I don’t think it’s possible to have a recent backup when you have old backup. I don’t know how far it works but there is a recovery tool where you can install on your Mac computer. Install MiniTool Mobile Recovery for iOS, then you need to connect your iPhone to the computer. Then you can try to recover the data from minitool on from your computer.
