Deleting your account from Gmail is quite effortless.
1. Simply sign into your Gmail account on Google.com.
2. Go to the grind icon in the upper right-hand corner and choose account.
3. Select delete your account or service under the account preference section.
4. Choose “delete products”
5. Enter your password.
6. Incase you want to save your crucial information,click “download data”
7. Click the trash icon next to “Gmail”.
8. Enter an alternative email address.Remember this can’t be a new Gmail address.
9. Verify the email
10. Open the email you should have received with an alternative email and follow the deletion link in the message.
11. Open the Gmail account you want to delete.
12. Select “Yes” delete the account.
13. Click “delete Gmail” then click DONE.

Removing Gmail account is 2 step easy process. just follow these 2 simple steps to remove Gmail account from Gmail app. Open Gmail app and click on your “profile picture image” and click on “manage accounts on this device” as shown in the below image.
Once you click on Manage accounts on this device, it shows all your gmail email accounts on the device. choose the one you want to remove and tap on it.
Once you tap on the Gmail account, you will see “Remove” option, click on it to remove.
