The recently launched Windows 11 has a lot of new features compared to Windows 10. But as we know, with a lot of features, the PC needs enough amount of RAM and CPU speed to handle all the tasks. You may experience high RAM usage, faster battery drain and also heating issues due to high CPU usage.

If you really think your PC ain’t fit to well manage Windows 11, You can roll back to older Windows 10. You can still try to turn off most of the features in your Windows 11 that causes high ram usages.

Here’s how to roll back to windows 10:

      1. Click on Start Menu and choose Settings.
      2. On left, Choose Windows Update and select Advanced Options.
      3. Scroll down and click on Recovery.
      4. Under Recovery Options, You can see “Previous Version Of Windows”. Click on Go Back option next to it.
      5. Choose a reason and click Next> No Thanks> Next> Next> Go Back To Earlier Build.
      6. Now after a few restarts, You will be roll backed to Windows 10. But there is still a chance that Windows 11 will be installed again on your PC when a new update rolls out.
      7. To prevent that, Click on Start> Settings> Update & Security. Scroll down on the left and choose Windows Insider Program.
      8. Under Stop Getting Preview Builds, Turn the slider On.
      9. To completely exit from The Insider Program, Choose Leave The Insider Program in the left and follow the instructions.

There is a chance that you may not see the “Previous Version Of Windows” option in step 4. If that’s the case, You may have to install Windows 10 again from the ISO file or by running the setup. This is due to the fact that, Windows 11 will clear the previous windows 10 files after 10 days from the installation of Windows 11.
