   I will try to resolve your query regarding how to write a mail to send resume through someone’s reference. (Basically, I will cover 6 points to consider while sending resume through someone’s reference)

   Besides, I will give you a sample email and a sample of resume as well.

   So, lets get started with the 6 points to consider while writing an email if you are sending resume through someone’s reference –

   1. Make sure to write a strong subject line that should help the managers to know your intentions. If you are applying through someone’s reference then it is always recommended to mention his name since recruiters get a number of emails so it will increase your chances of getting attention.
   2. Be professional, don’t use fancy words and try to make mutual acquaintance (with referral) since it will increase your chances of getting reply to your email.
   3. After mentioning about how you came to know about vacancy, straightaway tell your desires in the first few sentences like you want to apply for job or something else.
   4. Be concise and to the point while writing all the relevant information.
   5. If you are applying for a job then always make sure to attach resume because recruiter want to know your work experience and skills you possess before giving you a chance.
   6. At the end don’t forget to thank the reader for his time, it will increase your chances of getting revert.
