If shift + delete is not working on chrome, do this to fix. Shortcut Key problems are common among Chrome users. Many have reported that some keys are not working while using Chrome. Many have also came up with some solutions that worked for others. Here, I’ll share some of those solutions and hope it would work for you.
1) Updating Chrome:
If you’re using an old version of Chrome, Try updating to the latest version. You can visit the Chrome website and download the latest version
2) Clear Cache and Settings:
You can go to Settings> More Tools> Clear Browning Data to clear Cache and other data.
To Reset Settings:
Click Settings> Advanced> Under Reset And Settings> Reset Settings
3) Close Opera:
If you have Opera Browser running in the background, Close the browser and Stop it from running in the background by going to Task Manager
4) Restart Your PC:
Restarting your PC can fix this issue most of the times. Try doing that.
5) Disabling Extensions:
Disabling Extensions can sometimes fix this problem. To disable Extensions> Click on More Tools> Extensions.
6) Pause/ Break Button:
Press Pause/break button beside scroll lock on top right corner and try these keys after that. It may fix the problem.
7) Windows Key:
Try Pressing Windows Key twice. This have fixed the issue for some users.
