SRam And DRam and Difference between SRam and DRam:
What is SRam?
Sram, the full form of SRam is Static Random Access Memory, a type of semi conductor memory that uses bi-stable latching circuitary(flip flop) to store each bit. Its very fast and does not require refresh cycles to retain data. It is used for CPU cache. Has lower density and is slightly expensive. Time required to access data is minimum.
What is DRam ?
Dram, the full form of DRam is Dynamic Random Access Memory, a type of random access semiconductor memory that stores each bit of data in a separate tiny capacitor within an integrated circuit. It is not as fast as SRAM and requires periodical refresh cycles to retain data. It is used for the computer’s main memory. It has a higher density and is less expensive as compared to Sram. The time required to access data is more.
