Mine is a iphone, and i frequently use Facetime and sometimes whatsapp. And my data is getting finished up really quickly, im sure its because of video calls, but which app consumes more data, when compared to facetime and whatsapp, do anyone have a idea ? which app consumes less data for video calls whatsapp or facetime ?

My personal vote is for Facetime app, I used both apps for video calling. I feel Facetime app consumes less data for video calling, when compared to video calling in whatsapp.
I regularly use facetime for video calling and data used to get eaten up quickly. Then i tried whatsapp app, after that i was like, facetime is consuming a bit less data for video calling.
Not saying this according to any survey conducted, but my personal observation. Maybe i dont know or not sure, which app uses less data for video calls overall. But for me Its Facetime which uses less data for video calls.
Someone asked that will the other person hear my alarm on Facetime. I got the answer for that too.
