If you are facing Autorun.inf file and not able to delete that virus. Here is a way to delete autorun.inf virus without using any external anti virus software. Just follow the below steps to delete the virus by yourself.
Here are the easy steps to delete the Autorun.inf virus without any antivirus software:
1)On your windows laptop/computer disable CD or DVD/USB autorun.
2) Now click on the windows key or start button, then click on programs and choose winrar option then winrar.exe ( start > Programs >Winrar> Winrar.exe )
3) Now open the virus infected file using winrar application.
4) By using Winrar application, we can see hidden files (usually virus infected files will cause hidden files to stay hidden, even though we keep show hidden files option turned on).
5) Here find the file which has autorun.inf and right click on it. And open with Notepad.
6) here you will see .exe file (copy this .exe file )
7) Open the drive which you have this autorun.inf file. For example on your computer, if it is on E: Drive. Here look for that .Exe file, and delete the autorun.inf file and .exe file together.
8) Restart your system, now there is no virus in your system. By doing the above steps i hope you will be able to delete autorun.inf file now.
