Yes you can make Android apps using python. but it is not optimal choice to choose python as development platform for Android apps. Because through python we cannot access inbuilt Android calls.
so if it is a custom UI you can develop Android app using python. But if your requirement is to use native UI off Android then python won’t be suitable.
but you will get dot apk file by using python as the platform for developing Android apps.
