If you want to find the location of a cell phone number using Google Maps, follow the below steps for live tracking the location. Using this process, you can track the location of your friend accurately for free.
Remember, it can be only used to track the location of your family or friends and also with their consent. Trying to track the location of unknown persons without their consent is a crime.
In order to locate the cell number of your friend or family member, follow the below procedure:
1. First open the latest version of Google Maps.
2. Turn on location.
3. Click on the logo on the right hand side.
4. You can see many options.
5. Click on location sharing.
6. Click on get started.
7. Set up a period of time for location tracking.
8. You will be able to see your contacts.
9. You must send tracking link to your contact that you have selected through social media.
10. If you want to enter contact manually, click on more option and then you need to enter phone number or email id.
11. Please note that without email id, we cannot do this process.
12. After selecting the option, you need to send the location sharing request and make sure your friend accepts your request.
13. You can add friends by clicking on add member icon also.
14. If you want to know their location, you can send them location request and you can clearly see the distance and direction where your friend is exactly present.
But it is very important that they need to turn on their location.
