windows error driver_irql_not_less_or_equal how to fix

I don’t know why when I boot up my Windows laptop, windows error driver_irql_not_less_or_equal, the above error is showing up.

What makes this error appears on Windows? “windows error driver_irql_not_less_or_equal”? 

How can we fix this issue ? What are the best working troubleshoot so that I can get rid of this Windows errors and sometimes the irritating blue screen error.

      Blue Screen Errors can be really frustrating and the Windows won’t load until these errors are resolved. “driver_irql_not_less_or_equal” is a common Blue Screen error that can occur when your network driver uses an incorrect memory address. This happens due to:

      1. Corrupted/Incompatible Network Drivers
      2. Outdated Network Drivers
      3. Failed Windows Update
      4. Incomplete installation of a software program.

      Although there are many solutions that can be found elsewhere, not all of them might seem working. Here are some ways by which you can get through driver_irql_not_less_or_equal Windows Stop Code error. These solutions are tested and proved to be working for many users and even for me, when I faced the Blue Screen issue.

      If you’re able to boot successfully somehow, Follow the below steps:

      Method 1: Windows Memory Diagnostic

      1. Restart your PC holding the Shift Key and it will take you to Advanced Boot Options.
      2. Once you’re on Recovery Mode, Choose Troubleshoot> Advanced Options> Startup Settings.
      3. Click on “Restart”.
      4. Search for “Windows Memory Diagnostic” and press Enter.
      5. Click on “Restart Now And Check For Problems”.
      6. Wait for it to detect and fix problems. If it still doesn’t work, Proceed to the next method.

      Method 2: CMD – SFC Tool, DISM Tool And Check Disk Tool

      1. Open start and type in “CMD”.
      2. Right click CMD and choose “Run As Administrator” .
      3. Run the following tools one after the other. Type in the commands one after the other excluding the quotes and comma.
      4. To Run SFC Tool, Type In these Commands: “c:”, “SFC /ScanNow”,”exit”. Restart your PC.
      5. To Run DISM Tool, Type In These Commands: “c:”, “dism.exe /Image:c:\ /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth”,”exit”. Restart your PC.
      6. To Run Check Disk Tool: “chkdsk /r c: “. Restart your PC.

      Method 3: Device Manager

      1. Click on Windows button  and type in “Device Manager”. Press Enter
      2. Expand the Disk Drive section. Right click your Disk Drive and choose Properties.
      3. Click on Policies and uncheck “Enable write caching on the device”.
      4. Press OK and restart.

      Method 4: System Restore

      1. If you get this error code again wait till boot into Automatic Repair Screen.
      2. Or press Windows Key and type in ” Recovery options” and press Enter.
      3. Under Advanced Startup click on Restart now.
      4. Choose Advanced Options> Troubleshoot> Advanced Options> System Restore.
      5. Login to your Account.
      6. Choose the last system restore point and click on Finish.
      7. This might take some time to complete.
      8. Check if the problem still persists.
