Yes artificial intelligence can overcome and compete human intelligence if trained and implemented well. Plus human have many limitations which can be overcome by artificial intelligence system easily.
AI system has unlimited memory and they don’t grow old or rusty either. They can work for forever.
If we will be care free while implementing them, it’s possible they run us and not vice versa as we see in movies.
Yet still artificial intelligence is in primary stage of implementation but in future they will be better than human in many ways.

First of all, we need to understand that we can’t say anything with certainty since earlier no one was certain that we will have Alexa, Sophia until these are invented.
Second thing is that AI is made by humans so even if we create strong AI, we will improve ourselves side by side.
But, the best part with AI is that, it never get tired. It can be charged. Moreover, machines are durable. Humans die because of diseases, accidents, etc. Robots never die. Even if some part stop working, we can replace and it will start functioning again as if nothing has happened.
Besides, machines are getting smarter and machine learning allows robots to learn like a baby. Moreover, robots download every single possible human portrayal of body language and facial expression, learns what they mean, analyzes their possible outcome and chooses the best one. Sophia is the beautiful example of machine learning.
Still, we need to understand that AI is not as much developed to take part in decisive roles. On the top of that, AI function only as much algorithm we have built in. In future we might develop more advanced AI.
So, the whole crux of entire article is that AI can replace Human Intelligence to a great extent but not completely subject to how much advance AI we develop.

As AI replacing human intelligence, I don’t totally agree. But AI will take over some position of humans. As we see in agriculture industry most machine are self learned and took over Human work. So in my opinion AI can’t replace human intelligence completely ….

I too don’t wont vote for the above statement. That Can AI over take Human Intelligence. Thanks for posting AI taking over human intelligence gd, few mentioned there views, that AI can take over Human intelligence, personally i don’t think so.

Can AI (Artificial Intelligence ) Beat Human Intelligence ? This is the Group discussion here i guess. So I will mention some pros and cons of both AI and Human Intelligence, so you can decide whether AI can Take over Human intelligence or not.
When we compare benefits of both AI And Human intelligence, each has its own importance. So I will go neutral as of 2020.

Short answer: NO, not yet!!!
Long answer:
So we are seeing now every gadget around us boasts of having some AI feature. Check mobiles there is AI beautification and bla bla. AI nowadays are assisting human intelligence and I don’t think that they will be taking over HI. Maybe later but not anytime soon.
AI now-a-days are just doing menial work. They are not making decisive decisions. As you see they are assisting in photography, agriculture etc etc. But they are not working in any key role making stuff like where actual danger to lives are involved.
Boeing developed 737-MAX-8 aircraft and within span of two months last year or so two newly built aircraft dived on land killing all of the living beings onboard. How? By a software, YES! Boeing did some modifications and they were not able to manage the designing defects so they installed a software which will pull the nose down in certain circumstances. So, in these two accidents due to certain erroneous readings the software thought the nose was up and it pulled the nose down while the nose was at level. So, in this example we see that we still need pilots or human intelligence and can’t give control to the AI.
AI might be overtaking us but it’s in distant feature not now. AI is just not yet capable of taking big roles.
I don’t personally think that they can replace human intelligence. But artificial intelligence is gradually taking over so much of human intelligence. like as we are humans giving space to the artificial intelligence to take the best decisions instead of thinking.
what I mean to say is human certificate recognised for their decision making. Whereas in the current day artificial intelligence is developing by itself by mission learning or self learning. So it is also getting used to think like a human. But all this artificial intelligence is developed by humans and maintained by humans. So I don’t think I can ever replace human intelligence.
But when we think of human robot, Sofia, the artificial intelligence or machine learning from this robot is exceptional. When lot of people tested this robot asking various questions. I upset something like it is learning from the past getting adapted to the situations and thinking like a human mind. So this advancement of machine learning makes us in a dilemma situation, to think of chances for a taking the place of human intelligence. And I have read few points from the other people on this group discussion. Most of their views are close to mine.
