How to Fix Windows 10 Error 0xc000021a?

When I try to open my PC today, I got this error. It’s not letting me into my windows home screen. How to fix this blue screen error?

      Blue Screen Errors can be really frustrating and the Windows won’t load until these errors are resolved. 0xc000021a is a common Blue Screen error that can occur if Winlogon.exe or Csrss.exe stops working. This happens if:

      1. There were corrupt system files in the computer.
      2. There was a failed upgrade (Drivers/ Windows Updates).

      3. Incomplete installation of a software program.

      There are many solutions that can be found elsewhere, not all of them might seem working. Here are some ways by which you can get through 0xC000021A Windows Stop Code error. These solutions are tested and proved to be working for many users and even for me, when I faced the Blue Screen issue.

      Method 1: Command Prompt

      1. Restart your PC holding the Shift Key and it will take you to Advanced Boot Options.
      2. Once you’re on Recovery Mode, Choose Troubleshoot> Advanced Options> Command Prompt.
      3. Login to your account.
      4. When the command prompt window appears, Type in the command: “chkdsk /f/r  c:”. After that type “exit” to exit from CMD.
      5. After that, Go to CMD again and type in these commands one after one: “bootrec /fixmbr”, “bootrec /fixboot”, “exit”.

      Method 2: System Restore

      1. Go to Advanced Boot options again like you did in Method 1.
      2. Choose Troubleshoot> Advanced Options> System Restore.
      3. Choose the last system restore point and click on Finish.
      4. This might take some time to complete.

      Method 3: Command Prompt –  Scan Disks

      1. Go to Command Prompt like you did in Method 1.
      2. Type in these commands one after one: “dir”,”sfc /scannow”,”dism /online/cleanup-image /restorehealth”,”exit”.

      Method 4: Resetting PC

      1. Go to Advanced Options like you did in Method 1.
      2. Choose Troubleshoot> Reset This PC> Keep My Files.
      3. Login to your account and click on “Reset”.
      4. If that didn’t worked out, Try again with “Remove Everything” option. This will erase everything.

      Method 5: Reinstalling Windows

      1. If none of the above methods work for you, All you can do now is to install a fresh Windows 10.
      2. For that, You need another PC and a 16gb+ flashdrive.
      3. First, Install the version of Windows 10 that your PC had. For ex, Most laptops comes with Windows 10 Home – Single Language.
      4. Now you need to create a Windows 10 bootable pendrive. To learn how to do that, Click here.
      5. Once you boot into your flashdrive, Install the Windows. Once you get into the Home screen, Go to Settings> Check For Updates.
      6. It might take a while to install all those updates and might consume a lot of WiFi.
