how to solve emergency calls only problem in airtel

When im trying to call someone on airtel mobile, I am seeing “emergency calls only problem”. How to solve emergency calls only problem in airtel ? Other Airtel mobiles are working fine, they are not getting emergency calls only problem.

      If you are facing emergency calls only problem in Airtel network or any other mobile network. You may try the following troubleshooting steps to fix the emergency calls only problem.

      Assuming you have a tell sim card on your mobile,

      1. just turn on airplane mode on your mobile and turn it off and check whether emergency calls only problem is solved.

      2. If you still facing it restart your mobile and check again (try calling someone with your network).

      3. If the problem persists remove your sim card and insert it again properly.

      4.if you have a internal memory card remove that memory card and keep only sim card and try checking whether emergency only problem solve.

      5. Assuming your mobile is Android  phone, pick on your phone settings. Then click on sim card and mobile data. Here choose sim 1 or SIM 2 whichever you have the Airtel slot in. Once you choose the Airtel SIM you will see option called carrier. By default career option will be set to auto, disable and turn on again.

      Conclusion: by doing the above troubleshooting steps I hope your emergency calls only on Airtel network issue will be solved.

      My airtel sim shows emergency calls only. Exactly what you haved faced. When my airtel sim is showing emergency calls only problem, 4th step solved my issue. I removed sd card and restarted the phone, then signal came.

      Note : if airtel sim is showing emergency calls only issue, simply do aeroplane mode on and off.

      If anyone are facing the issue after doing above all troubleshooting steps, then this is how you can talk to Airtel customer care executive online.

      I wonder, why my airtel sim is showing emergency calls only. My location area got full network access, still it saying emergency calls only.

      Solution : try airplane mode ( on and off).

    4. Since yesterday, having the emergency calls only problem in airtel. tried all the 4 steps. 5th step sim card option when i click, it is in grey colour, could not do anything. Pls help. Should I ask airtel to replace my sim card?
