Queued email in outbox in Gmail app means, the email you are trying to send stuck in the outbox. We can manually make queued emails send successfully. Usually without doing anything queued emails on gmail app gets delivered later.
Where to find Outbox emails :Â Open your Gmail app and click on 3 horizontal lines at top left. After that scroll down you will see outbox option. Observe the below image.
I will explain with a example what is queued email in gmail :
When you attach something to your email, a image or a video, then due to a bad network connection or other issues the composed email may take some time to process. So until it gets successfully sent to other person, the email stays in Outbox in Queue.
The first Queued email gets first priority and once it is processed and sent, the email which is next in queue gets sent.

I will simplify the meaning of queued in gmail. Queued means waiting for something in a line, so the mail you tried to sent, is waiting to send to the other person. Usually these queued emails on gmail will stay in outbox.
How to send these Queued emails if they are stuck in outbox, just open outbox and refresh once ( just drag the phone screen from top to bottom once). The queued emails will get refreshed and sent. I hope you got the meaning of queued emails on gmail.
Queued meaning in gmail is the emails we are trying to send has a issue (maybe with attachment which is large in size). So they are in queue and waiting for processing, once it is processed (if attachments uploaded successfully ). It will leave the queue and will be sent. This is what means queued in gmail.
If email is staying in outbox for long, in order to fix queued issue in gmail, just refresh it once from scrolling top to bottom. Or just delete that queued email and try to compose and new email.
Queued means Gmail is unable to send the mail to the sender immediately.
You can check the queued mails in the outbox menu.
In the outbox, you can see the list of queued mails. To send the queued mail you just need to refresh the list.
Thanks for the info, I thought the meaning of queued in Gmail was a error. But its just a delay of emails getting send. And some of my emails with attachment got queued in Outbox. I refreshed as you said, once those are uploaded, my emails were sent. Thanks once again, queued problem was fixed.

I Faced this queued error, when i tried to send email with attachment on gmail app. It showed me queued in outbox. I searched as what does queued mean in gmail means.
The best thing is I solved queued issue by myself, just open your android mobile settings and click on users and accounts. Here try disabling auto sync accounts and re-enable it. Now head over to your gmail app outbox and refresh. Your queued will get sent immediately. Yea queued email meaning is this simple and fixing this is quite easy, just follow my above step.
So instead of searching for what is queued in gmail, Lets fix it by ourselves.
Note : queued in gmail, may occur if you have low internet connection. Try switching to wifi Network and mobile data vice versa. I hope you got queued email meaning by now, Thanks.
