If you are facing the error “DNS server is not responding”in Windows 10, The main causes would be default DNS server of your ISP might be down, Misconfigured in your settings or might have moved to a new server. But don’t worry about it, Here I’ll be mentioning the most effective ways to fix this problem. Incase if these methods didn’t worked out for you, You can leave a reply and I’ll be responding soon..

      1) Try Changing Your Browser:

Sometimes the problem can be due to the DNS connections with your browser, So try changing the browser and then access the internet. If it works, You may need to reinstall the browser or update it.

      2) Try Disabling Your Antivirus:

There are chances for your Antivirus program to mess with your Internet Connection if they detect something suspecious. So, Try disabling your Antivirus program and check if the problem is solved!

      3) Try Reinstalling Network Drivers:

This method has worked for many other users. Reinstalling Network Drivers is easy, Follow the below steps:

Windows Button> Search ‘Device Manager’> Run The Program> Under Network Adapters choose your network device> Choose Uninstall Driver> After that, Right click on Network Adapters and choose ‘ Scan For Hardware Changes ‘

      It will Reinstall the driver.

      4) Peer To Peer Feature:

Disabling this feature on Windows 10 may fix your issue as sometimes this feature can mess your internet connection. To disable this feature:

Settings> Update And Security> Delivery Optimization> Disable Peer To Peer feature from the right side.

      5) Using Command Prompt:

Command Prompt is a powerful tool in your Windows 10 that has many great features. This is one of the most effective methods in this list:

Click Windows Icon> Type In ‘Command Prompt’> Right click and select Run As An Administrator> Type in ‘ipconfig/flushdns’ ( excluding the quotes ) > It will show a message ‘Successfully Flushed The DNS Resolver’> Then type the following commands executing one after one:

      ipconfig /registerdns
      ipconfig /release
      ipconfig /renew

Bonus Method: Try Turning Off your router and switch it on after 5 minutes

      Hope This Answer Helped 🙏
