I googled how to delete my Instagram account .It says that I can’t delete the account from within the app, but I have to do it from the ‘delete your account page’ . But when I click on the link, the page isn’t opening. Please help.

Yes Right from your phone you can delete your instagram account permanently,just open chrome browser on your mobile and open the below link (this is permanent instagram deletion link).

Step 2 : Once you browse through this account deletion link,it asks you to login,just login with your instagram username and password for the account which you want to delete.

Step 1 to delete your Instagram account :
1.First click on this Instagram deletion link.
2.Once you click on that, Select a reason for deletion of your Instagram account, from drop down as shown in the below image.
As you observe in the above image, You can temporarily disable Instagram account if you want ( in this case choose “disable account” option).
