   There is actually a way by which you can read deleted messages on WhatsApp unless you’ve muted his/her chat. The method is called Notification Log method and you actually don’t require any other app to see deleted messages on WhatsApp. Note that, This is only for Android and you might not be able to use this method in Desktop WhatsApp. So, Here is the method to see deleted messages on WhatsApp without any app on Android Smart Phone:

   1. Open Settings on your phone and go to Notifications. (Note that these Settings will differ depending on your phone’s manufacturer and android version.).
   2. Tap on Advanced Settings> Notification History.
   3. Here you can find the notifications of the past which also includes those WhatsApp deleted messages.
   4. If your phone doesn’t have this settings, Your next option is to go for third party apps which can be found on Play Store. Just search for “Read Deleted WhatsApp Messages” and you can find many apps.
