One of my friends on the Instagram comments he told me that he sent a message request to me. But I couldn’t find that message request from him. Why message request not showing on instagram?

      Fix message request not showing on instagram, by changing message privacy Instagram settings.

      Probably you may have opted to not receive any message request from others on Instagram. This could be the reason for you not able to receive message requests. 

      Let’s  see how we can change the option for message requests, so that you can receive messages from others.

      Fix message request not showing on instagram:

      1) click on your profile picture at bottom right corner.

      2) now click on settings and then click on privacy settings.

      Once you enter into Instagram privacy settings at the bottom you’ll see option called message.

      Once you click on the message there is a option like,  whether you can enable message request from others on Instagram or you can disable.

      Here is the setting probably this may be the reason for your not receiving any message request on Instagram. Don’t receive message request, if this option is enabled you need to disable it and then you can receive message request normally.
