Try these working troubleshooting steps to fix WhatsApp notification problem in your phone. if you are not receiving any WhatsApp applications there may be some sort of error in your WhatsApp application or phone settings.
First of all check within the WhatsApp application:
1. Open WhatsApp click on three dots at right top corner.
2. Click on settings, then notifications.
3. Make sure you enable conversations tones, check whether your WhatsApp ringtone has some ringtone other than none.
4. Just enable high priority notifications on.
Troubleshooting steps from phone settings:
1.Click on phone settings, then find WhatsApp application, click on data usage and enable use background data option.
2. And under permissions make sure you enabled each and every permission for WhatsApp application.
3. Now restart your phone and check switching between Wi-Fi and phone data. By doing all this above steps, I guess your WhatsApp notifications will start receiving.
