We can easily remove trending searches from Google on Safari. If we just disable an option called auto search complete with trending searches on Google app, you won’t see further trending searches from Google on Safari anymore.
Procedure to remove trending searches from Google on Safari:
Under settings there is a option called general, click on general.
Just turn off discover and autocomplete with trending searches options so that you won’t be able to see trending searches from Google on Safari.

I don’t think you can turn off trending searches, despite the many web pages telling you how to do it. You can certainly go to settings and say “please turn them off” but Google will ignore you. They might have the decency to take the option away rather than just ignoring usI can only suggest that you use a different browser (Brave, Vivaldi, Firefox, Duckduckgo etc). That’s what I’ve done because I’m sick of spending timer turning off junk in Chrome., This is just one annoyance out of many, the straw that broke the camel’s back.
