   Yes, it is possible to export instagram chat. However, you can get it on web, not in the app.

   The process is simple, just you need to follow these steps –

   • First of all, login to instagram.com 
   • Click on your profile in the bottom right corner
   • Then click on 3 lines in the right corner on the top and you will get account settings menu, click on that.
   • Now, Click on Security tab
   • You will get an option to download your data, tap on that
   • Now you have to enter your email and confirm it then request for your data.
   • Although, Instagram will warm you, “It may take upto 48 hours” to get a link to your data, but you will get it much earlier.
   • Finally, check your email and follow the link to export the data. 

   Remember – Instagram allows you to request a link to your data every four days, so consider that while downloading your data.
