Hello,
I dived deep into this topic and found that the WhatsApp messages are sensitive information. Once you’ve exported some chat then that person can see the chat but cannot import it to his own WA because each messages sent by someone is end to end encrypted and they are recognised by a particular Ph No only. Let me illustrate it with a small example.
Let there are two persons A and B. A exported a chat and send it to B. And now B wants it to add that chat in his WA account. This is not possible. This feature is not yet supported by WA and I doubt it ever will be because it invokes huge security concern.
So what can person B do?
Analyse the .zip file and see what is included inside it. As my research says there must be a .txt file which will store your chats along with timestamps. Person B will have to manage with that only.
ZIP file can be extracted by WinZip or WinRARÂ software. This is also possible by phone. Most phones file manager has inbuilt extractor and if not present, many apps are available on Play.
Extract it and analyse it.
