Connecting WhatsApp to Google drive is pretty easy. If you haven’t connected WhatsApp to Google drive when you first sign up on WhatsApp this is how you can connect whatsapp to Google drive in 2 simple steps.
Click on WhatsApp settings and then click on chats.
Once you click on chats, option there will be backup option.
Click on the chat backup option and here you see Google drive so you can click on backup there and connect your WhatsApp to Google drive.
See if you are observe the above image, backup to Google drive option is set to never, tap on that and you need to set it to daily weekly or monthly.
